All About Me
My name is Aleks & thank you for viewing my online portfolio. Before proceeding to my portfolio allow me to briefly tell you a little bit about myself and how I got to be a Visual/Graphics Designer.
Since young age I've had passion for art and loved to use almost any media, and so naturally I ended up pursuing and combining my passion for Art with technology.
My journey began when I was in high school at the same time I also attended NEWTECH Skill Center, where I studied & obtained certification in Graphic Design & Printing.
After high school I attended International Academy of Design & Technology where I expended my design knowledge and obtained Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications, Graphic Design & Advertising.
Currently I'm a Sr. Designer/Project Lead at LVR, where I oversee and design majority of the digital and print collateral. I have a bit of an analytical mindset and I tend to analyze everyday duties that aren’t necessarily part of my sphere. I make it my goal to find solutions to a problem that others might encounter to help improve and streamline processes.
Photography is another passion of mine and I've been capturing images for over 6 years now, both corporate and freelance. I'm very keen to Architectural & Landscape area of photography & I take every opportunity I get to grow and learn more about these specific areas.
I believe in open communication and regularly contribute suggestions that can elevate project outcomes. I welcome feedback and thrive on learning new concepts that foster both professional and personal growth. My commitment goes beyond traditional design duties; I ensure that projects are not only visually compelling but also cost-effective and aligned with strategic objectives.
I'm very dedicated, loyal, dependable and I've been told I have a great work ethic. I'm very persistent and when facing a problem I don't stop until I figure out a solution. I love discovering new ways to improve and gain new skills, that's the curious side in me. To further expand and continue my growth I am currently enrolled in a Full Stack Developer course, as well as Database Management course and I plan to explore the world of AI to gain deeper insights. I am committed to ongoing learning and look forward to expanding my expertise across various domains in the industry.
In my free time I enjoy family movie nights, video game nights, going biking, outdoor games, camping and just exploring nature. Family means a world to me.
